CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSETS FOR HAMILTON

It is not too late to do your Spring cleaning! Donate your gently used clothing, household goods, and toys, including stuffed animals, and the HSA receives 15 cents per pound!! Drop off items on June 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 49 Thornbury Avenue. For more information on what and how you can donate, or to volunteer, click here.

Why fight the crowds in September? You can order your child's school supplies for the 2012-2013 school year right now! Toolbox school supplies can be ordered online until June 15th. Order form and more information can be found here.

What's happening at Hamilton? Get in the know! Come to the next HSA meeting on Tuesday, June 12th at 9:00 a.m. The slate of officers for the HSA for the 2012-2013 school year will be voted on at the June 12th meeting.

The Spring Box Top Collection Contest is on now. Don't forget to bring in your box tops! Each student in the class that collects the most wins a free Rita's ice!

Order from Francesca's on Monday, May 21st and 10% of your entire bill will go back to Hamilton. Don't forget to mention that you are a Hamilton family and the name of your child's teacher. The class with the most sales may win a pizza party!

HABITAT DAY HELP NEEDED

Enjoy some fun in the sun with Hamilton students at our annual Habitat Day on May 24th. The event takes place from 12:30-3:00 and includes planting flowers, learning about local flora and fauna, and thinking about our environment. Please volunteer! We also gladly welcome contributions of flowers, mulch and compost, as well as hand trowels to borrow for the day of the event. Contact Elaine Howe at ebhowe@verizon.net.

HATS OFF!

April was showered with great events thanks to many wonderful volunteers! The Science Fair was out of this world due to the hard work and organization of Karyn Stephenson. The assistance of Holly Goshin and Tracy Morin was very much appreciated. The Spring Book Fair was a success under the leadership of Carollyn Finegold. A huge thank you to the real rock stars of Rock the School for working so long and hard to make it the event of the season: Eileen Murphy, Holly Goshin and Julie Weber, the co-chairs! This event could not have happened without the help of so many other volunteers. A round of applause to the perfect pair of "bouncers", Rick Ryan and Mike Murphy. A big thanks to John Arehart for his amazing teacher pictures and Phil Paradise for all the great signs. Kudos to the following people for all their help: Elizabeth Gifford, Merri Kapiloff, Donna Famularo,Carmela Calbi, Michele Sapoff, Jane Trust Ryan, Karen Fried, Noreen Petraitis, Sandi Stern, and Elizabeth Cox.
