Hamilton Helping Hands assists Fifth Graders in selling delicious frozen treats (Outshine Fruit Bars) year round to raise money for their yearbook! Treats are one dollar ($1). Click here to view package materials with ingredients.

GLEN ROCK JAYCEES DONATION

School received a generous donation of $500 from the Glen Rock
Jaycees. The Glen Rock Jaycees is a nonprofit organization that has
been supporting and sponsoring a variety of community activities in Glen
Rock and surrounding communities for decades.
And what did we do with the donation?
are happy to report that we purchased 4 desk conversion kits to make
the desks so that kids can stand to help with concentration. Along with
our school's purchase, every classroom will have a stand up desk.

The Alexander Hamilton Art Studio proudly presents:
The 2016 Spring Art Exhibition
Wednesday, May 11th - Thursday, May 12th
The exhibition will feature over 1,000 pieces of original artwork by all of the Hamilton art students, Kindergarten – 5th grades.
The Spring Art exhibition will include all of the yearly artwork as well as projects from the Artist in Residence programs, graciously funded by our HSA. Also featured will be original artwork from the Hamilton Art Club; 4th and 5th grade students.
I would like to ask that all art work displayed on thetables be removed on Thursday, May 12th, after the art show is over at 6:00 p.m. This is due to the fact that the Multicultural Festival is on Friday, May 13th, and all tables are needed.
Thank you for your support and cooperation throughout the year. I look forward to seeing you all at the exhibition.

RELAY FOR LIFE!
Glen Rock will host the 13th annual Relay For Life from 1 pm Saturday, May 14 to 6 am Sunday, May 15 at Hamilton School. The event encompasses involvement of participants, supporters, and sponsors not only in Glen Rock, but in numerous nearby municipalities. Teams of people will walk the track in memory of a loved one lost to cancer, in honor of someone fighting cancer, and in recognition of a cancer survivor. The money raised supports groundbreaking cancer research, education and prevention programs, and critical services for people facing cancer.
We are encouraging our students here at Hamilton to take part in this endeavor, if desired.
HAMILTON HELPING HANDS
- 5th graders will hold a collection to support Rbari (Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc.) May 9-13
- The kindergarteners will hold a bake sale to support the 5th graders collection for Rbari. The bake sale will take place at Hamilton School on May 11th during the evening of the Art Show from 6-7:30 pm
- 5th Graders from several GR elementary schools will hold a "Garage Sale" fundraiser at Hamilton School on May 22nd with a donation being given to Tackle Kid's Cancer, which is an
organization that benefits the Children's Cancer Institute at Hackensack
University Medical Center.
- A coloring book drive will take place from May 31st to June 3rd benefiting children being treated at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.

H.S.A. BRICK FUNDRAISER

The H.S.A. Brick Fundraiser is in full swing. We will be placing all bricks in
the front of the school eventually surrounding our rock. Brick's are great
