Parent Workshops
The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is conducting workshops for parents/guardians with students in grades K-5 to help parents/guardians better understand and support their child with our literacy and mathematics programs.

Hamilton Book Fundraiser with the Curious Reader

The Hamilton HSA is pleased to announce a partnership with The Curious Reader, Glen Rock’s own downtown bookstore. Anytime you purchase books through The Curious Reader, please mention the Hamilton HSA to receive a 5% discount on your sale, with 10% of the sale earmarked for Hamilton's HSA. Glen Rock Community Showcase


The Glen Rock Public Schools in collaboration with the Borough of Glen Rock will host a Community Showcase in the cafeteria of the GR High School on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015, 7-9 pm. This event has been undertaken to further the civic engagement of Glen Rock families and strengthen school/community organizations and relationships. It offers all Glen Rockers the opportunity to connect with those diverse organizations that provide cultural, recreational and educational opportunities for children and adults. **October 7th is a homework-free night to encourage parent attendance for this Community Showcase. All residents are welcome.






         Glen Rock Annual Halloween Parade


This year's Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2015, for children 3rd grade and under. This event is sponsored by the Glen Rock Women in Community Service and The Glen Rock Chamber of Commerce. The parade begins promptly @ 9:30 am; gather at 9 am in costume at Veteran's Park, Main Street. WICS will be offering cider & donuts and providing bags for town Trick-or-Treating. Our Book Fair will be on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015, 9 am - 4 pm, and 6 pm - 8 pm.
In the meantime, you can check out our special webpage to see what will be going on, as well as samples of books available.
If you would like to get a headstart on shopping or will be unavailable to attend the fair, you can shop online from September 29th through October 13th.
All money raised goes right back into resources for the media center and classroom teachers.

SPIRIT WEAR SALE                        

Spirit Wear sales run from Monday, September 28th to Monday, October 12th. This year Spirit Wear will be purchased online only at Click here for more information.

The KidStuff Coupon Book is a  very easy way to help raise money for Hamilton School! Hamilton received 50% profit from each coupon book sold. The book contains useful coupons for various goods, services, and activities for both children and adults. Using just a few of the coupons pays for the cost of the book. Please help the HSA raise money for our students! KidStuff book sale runs from October 2nd-16th.

Week of Respect Events for Character Education, October 5th - 9th, 2015


Monday, Oct. 5 - Wear a blue shirt to "Show Respect" for World Day of Bullying Prevention, an initiative of STOMP Out Bullying.            

Tuesday, Oct. 6 - Wear bright colors to "Be Optimistic and Look on the Bright Side."                    

Wednesday, Oct. 7 - Wear sports clothing to "Show Good Citizenship and Team Up Against Bullying."

Thursday, Oct. 8 - Wear yellow or gold clothing to "Be Kind and Follow the Golden Rule."

Friday, Oct. 9 - Wear school colors or your favorite shirt to "Show Your Positive Self-Esteem and be Proud of Yourself and Your School."
